Wow, sheesh, is it July already? Is it just me, or did June just fly by? I am really looking forward to this Independence Day weekend! Taking a couple days off work, hanging with family, and maybe even sleeping in a little bit (that one is kind of up to my son…so it’s probably not going to happen). So, now that I’m finally in the 4th of July mindset, I thought I should create some festive graphics for you (my lovely readers)! Check out these fun patriotic patterns.
I’m all about seamless patterns lately! I did some for Father’s Day, created some for my shop, and even did a tutorial on how to make seamless patterns. I just love how easy they are to use, and how many applications they have. Seamless patterns make great backgrounds for printables and websites, as well as awesome accents for just about any other design you can think of. Which one of these 4th of July patterns will you be using first?
Even though this is the only 4th of July freebie I’ve had on my blog this year, I actually do have a project from last year you can check out: learn to make these super fun 4th of July Favors in a snap! And, earlier this week, I designed a cute subway art printable that you can get over at Juggling Act Mama.
What are your fun plans for the 4th (I’m going to assume you’re planning on having fun)? Are you getting out of town like us? Or are you putting on a big family BBQ and lighting off illegal fireworks that you drove to Wyoming to get (maybe that’s only applicable to Utahns…)?
Have a safe and happy Independence Day weekend! And happy designing!
