Did you know that I’m a vegetarian? I don’t talk about it a lot, but it’s true! My husband and I have both been vegetarians for over two years now. It wasn’t a big adjustment for us (we didn’t have enough money to buy meat very often anyway), but sometimes we have to get creative with lunch. So, if you’re looking to cut down on your family’s meat intake, and get organized for the school year, you’re going to love today’s post! I’ve got some super simple (and yummy) vegetarian lunch ideas and a cute, printable lunch box planner!

Vegetarian Lunch Ideas

The thing with a lot of vegetarian meals, you’ll find, is that they often take a lot of time to prepare and include a lot of ingredients you’ve never heard of (or maybe I’m just not cultured enough). This can be great to experiment with a big meal for dinner, but when it comes to breakfast and lunch, in my house, we are all about quick! Who has time to make a four-course breakfast or lunch (especially during the school year)? That’s why I love Quaker products like Quaker Instant Oatmeal, Life Cereal, and Quaker Chewy Bars!

You can find Quaker Chewy Dips Chocolate Chip Bars in the breakfast isle at Walmart, along with Quaker Instant Oatmeal and Life Cereal.

Packing lunch boxes can be tricky—kids can be quite picky (heck I’m picky and I’m an adult). So, I’ve compiled a list of main courses and sides so that you can mix and match to make sure everyone gets something they like.

  • Peanutbutter & Banna Sandwich
  • Bean Burrito
  • Bagel with Cream Cheese
  • Peanutbutter & Jelly Sandwich

  • Vegetables
  • Yogurt
  • Pudding
  • Cheese Sticks

The worst part for me about my kids going back to school is having to come up with ideas for lunches, so I’m so excited when I can find someone who compiles a list for me. Thank you! Great ideas. #client
