I just love bunnies (one of the many reasons why Easter is my favorite holiday)! Going to the store this time of year is so fun, because I love seeing all the cute bunny displays, bunny stuffed animals, and bunny-shaped treats. That’s why, when I decided to make some die cut Easter baskets, I just knew I had to incorporate bunnies somehow.

What You Need

How To Make

1. Use your cutting machine (or X-Acto knife) to cut out your basket shapes.

2. Fold your basket and tabs like so:

3. Glue the bunny or fence design on the outside of your basket. Glue the basket handle on the inside edges of your basket, and fill with yummy treats!

Ah! Aren’t these just too cute? And they really don’t take too long to put together. So, if you want to make a dozen of them for a class or Easter party, it’s totally doable.

For my baskets, I filled them with treats I know everyone will love: Starburst®, DOVE® Peanut Butter Eggs (a new product at Walmart), and a DOVE® Milk Chocolate Bunny (because Easter just isn’t complete without a chocolate bunny, is it?).

You can find everything you need to fill your Easter baskets in the holiday section at Walmart.

Have fun putting these fun, die cut Easter baskets together! What are some of your favorite Easter treats?

Thanks Cherie! I just used 8.5″x11″ card stock, but you could use larger if you want your baskets to be a little bigger. 🙂

These are cute and look so fun to make. I think I will be making some to give away at the office. I couldn’t find the score marks. Are they there and I just don’t see them? Thank you again Miss Mandee for such cute designs and for sharing with us.

Thanks Victoria! That will be so fun!!

I don’t usually include the score marks just because they will automatically show up as cut lines, and, if you don’t know how to change, ungroup, and attach the elements again, then it won’t cut properly. If you would like to add score lines, though, it’s fairly simple to do within Design Space. Just be sure to “Attach” all the elements together before sending it to cut. 🙂
