October 2014 General Conference Quotes

Hi there! How was your weekend? Did you tune in to General Conference? It was absolutely wonderful! Full of uplifting messages and inspired thoughts. I spent about half of conference wrestling a rambunctious little boy, but did my best to at least try to listen over the screaming and sounds of jingly toys being thrown (he may only be 7 months old, but he’s got energy like you wouldn’t believe). So, as motivation and spiritual bolstering, today I present to you these 6 wonderful October 2014 General Conference Quotes!
Whenever there was a part of a talk I really liked, I did my best to write it down, and here are some of my favorites:

Which one do you like the best? I think I would have to go with the quote from President Uchtdorf. I really loved his talk—especially the metaphors he used to relate our ever-growing discoveries about the universe to how we receive revelation.
I hope your day is a little brighter and that you feel a little more inspired because of one (or all) of these quotes! Share these with a friend, family member, or via social media (use the hashtag #ShareGoodness) to spread the love and encouragement. If you missed a session of General Conference, you can view it here, or read the talks when they come out in the November Ensign.
