Hello there! It’s Monday—did you have an enjoyable weekend? Ours was pretty chill: took a couple of nice walks, went out for Chinese food, and watched the latest Spiderman movie. You just can’t go wrong with a weekend that involves Chinese food and Spiderman! Now we’re back to the daily grind, and I’ve got just the thing to you pumped: free glitter backgrounds.
As you are probably well aware, sparkly type is very trendy right now, and I am definitely a big fan of the gold! Just look at that gold lettering on black—perfection! And you don’t just have to use this to dress up words either, glitter is great to have everywhere (except anywhere that it could potentially get on my husband…he’s not as big of a fan of glitter as I am).
So many brides are going with the black, white, and gold look right now (which I am so into). These glitter textures would work great for wedding invitations, save the dates, table numbers, or decorations. And I know that winter is coming to a close (hallelujah), but I think the silver texture would look really cool masked with snowflake shapes. So many possibilities! What plans do you have for these beauties?
Not quite sure how to transform these glitter backgrounds into sparkly words? Stay tuned, because I’ll be sharing a video tutorial later this week! Be sure to subscribe to my blog so you don’t miss it. Just submit your name and email in the footer, and never miss another freebie or tutorial from Designs By Miss Mandee.
Thanks for visiting. Do come again soon. I hope your newfound glittery treasures help add a little sparkle to your week!
Happy designing!

May 13, 2016 at 9:23 am (7 years ago)Hi. This is beautiful. Do you mind telling me how you inserted the word box ?
Mandee
May 13, 2016 at 12:30 pm (7 years ago)Hi Danshanika. Are you talking about the box and text on top of the glitter images? I do most all of my design work in Adobe Illustrator, so that’s how I was able to do that.

July 26, 2016 at 12:30 pm (7 years ago)Hi Michelle,
Glad you like my glitter textures. There are numerous ways to design printables, so it’s not something I could easily explain in a comment, but if you have programs like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, that is a good place to start. If not, there are free programs like PicMonkey you can utilize. I have a variety of design tutorials on my blog, including a couple basic PickMonkey tutorials you can check out.

It is called Anastasia Font, and I purchased it from Harder Type Foundry‘s shop on Creative Market back in the day, but, for some reason, I don’t see it available anymore. 🙁
