Welcome back from the weekend! Ok, I’m going to be honest here, I am having a REALLY hard time concentrating! Why? Because our family is taking our first ever trip to Disney World soon! I am so excited, a little nervous, and extremely ready to get out of here. I just can’t wait to spend some time in the Florida sunshine and introduce the little one to Mickey Mouse! But, until then, I’ve got some positively sweet hand drawn lines to share with you today.
What do you think? Do you have a favorite? I am digging the triangle-arrows at the moment…and the combo dashed line with dots, but they’re all just so fun—don’t you think? If you were around a couple weeks ago, you’ve probably already downloaded the first set of hand drawn lines I did. If not, you can find them here. And be sure to stick around and explore my site for even more lovely freebies.
Lines like these are great for so many things! I’m always looking for a little flourish to add to my work. These make great borders, dividers, and super cute photo overlays. You could make some really nice patterns by repeating these designs as well! Or use them to add a creative element to a piece of wall art. There’s just so many possibilities! Do you have any plans for these cuties yet?
Thanks for stopping by and taking some time to check out my latest creations! I hope you enjoy your new freebies and put them to good use. Now, it’s time for me to get back to stressing about our upcoming vacation (deep breath—in, and out…it’s no use, I’m too excited).
Happy designing!

May 5, 2015 at 7:39 am (9 years ago)Hi!! I’m definitely going to use this for my website. Also, I’m a new subscriber!!! At first I thought you’re just a college student studying in an art school (LIKE ME!) but when I read your ‘about’, I found out that you’re already a mom! Wow. Didn’t expect that. lol, maybe it’s because of your website. So lovely and cute!!
I’m also an aspiring graphic designer!!! Currently in my last term in college so wish me luck! You’re one of the few artists I look up to (online hehe)
More power to you! Looking forward to more freebies from you! Thank you!!

Yup, I am a mom: pretty crazy! I’m not too far removed from college though—I graduated about a year and a half ago.
Thanks so much for subscribing, and thanks for all your kind words! Best of luck in your final semester! Kick some graphic design butt!!

I am just curious, do you hand draw the graphics yourself or do you find/create them electronically?

December 15, 2015 at 3:02 pm (9 years ago)Thanks for the compliment Sarah! I’m so glad you like my work. I do hand draw most of the graphics I offer on my site. Then, I scan them into my computer and alter them in Adobe Illustrator. 🙂
