If you have birthday parties on the horizon, then you’ll definitely love today’s post! I’ve got some super cute printable birthday banners for you; and whether you’re planning a party for a girl or boy (or both) I’ve got what you need! Plus, I’m excited to share with you my new plan to stock up on birthday cards.
These sweet banners come in both pink and blue (I know, such stereotyping on my part—little Mandee would be so offended, especially since I would definitely have preferred the blue one). But, if you like both colors, you could alternate with each letter likeI did! And, as an added bonus, these banners are editable! On the third page of each document, you can type in any letters you need to spell out the name you want. Cool, huh?
For my family, we have an extra special birthday coming up, because it’s not just for one of my siblings, but two! My twin brother and sister’s birthday is this month, so that means a double-dose of everything: cake, decorations, gifts, and birthday cards.
So, I’ll be the first to admit that my “card” record isn’t the best. If any of you who are reading this went to my bridal shower or wedding, I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize if you didn’t get a thank you card. A week ago I found about 50 thank you cards I had written that got stuffed away when we were moving and never sent. So, chances are that I wrote one for you…it just never got mailed. Now (three years later) I feel like it might be a little awkward to send them. So yeah…really sorry about that!
But where were we? Oh yes, cards. So, my not-so-great card writing record doesn’t just apply to weddings and bridal showers, it’s all across the board—Christmas, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day…pretty much any holiday really, and, of course, birthdays. But this ends now! Now that I’ve discovered that Hallmark has cards starting at 47 cents, I have no excuse. I can stock up and whip one out whenever an occasion arises—no hassle!
You can find these awesome cards at your local Walmart, right by the party supplies. They even have a huge 47¢ sign so you can’t miss it!
And if you’re looking for more party supplies, Hallmark has wrapping paper, gift bags, you name it. Also, those cute little cupcakes in my photo, I didn’t have to lift a finger making them—just picked them up at the Walmart Bakery.

January 9, 2017 at 10:37 am (8 years ago)Hi Jen! Just checked out the file. Looks like the pink one is showing up as blue in the preview (I don’t know why), but when you open it (in Adobe Reader), it is pink.
