It’s Thursday—you know what that means…ok, I don’t know what it means either. I suppose it means that the weekend isn’t as seemingly unattainable as it was a few days ago. And today is an extra special Thursday, because I have some totally rad seamless patterns for Father’s Day! Check them out.
These designs combine two of my favorite elements: seamless patterns and hipster graphics! Seamless patterns are great for absolutely every type of design—seriously you can’t go wrong. And whenever I design something hipster-themed I feel about 12% cooler. And now when you add one of these hipster patterns to a Father’s Day card, you can make dad feel 12% cooler as well (or 12% older if you have to explain to him what “hipster” means and why there are so many mustaches and retro glasses involved).
Obviously I created these patterns with Father’s Day in mind, but they don’t necessarily need to be used to that end. The stripes and polkadots in particular could be use for just about anything: bunting banners, printable quotes, scrapbook pages, blog backgrounds, and about a million more things I wouldn’t even think of. Do you have any fun ideas for these patterns?
I’ve only recently learned how to create seamless patterns, but I am having a blast with it! If you haven’t already, you should definitely check out these lovely laurel patterns I made a couple weeks ago. I’ve probably used them for six different designs already! And if it’s hipster-esque clip art you like, be sure to download my hand drawn hipster graphics.
I hope the father’s, dads, grandfathers, and grandpappies in your life have a fantastic, wonderful Father’s Day this year! Happy designing!
