Guess what guys: the sun is scheduled to set at 8:50 PM (where I am) tonight! That’s right, I’ve got tons of daylight left, and it only gets better…until June 21. Are you loving the extra hours in the sun as much as I am, or are you a vampire? Don’t those watercolor strawberries and lemons just scream SUMMER!? Yeah, I thought so too. And if you like these bad boys, then you should definitely check out the black, white, and gold wallpapers I did a while back. I’m pretty much obsessed with summer right now. I drew up some tasty summer clip art a couple weeks ago, and now I’ve got these…sorry vampires, maybe next time.
A couple months ago, I [finally] joined the ranks and officially became a smartphone user! My hubby and I can now enjoy the convenience of a device in which we will never use to more than 1% of its capabilities! But seriously though, I am totally in love with this thing: it takes beautiful pictures, it can give me directions to anywhere I want to go (and sometimes places I didn’t want to go), and you can’t forget the 24/7 access to social media (mostly Pinterest, let’s be real).
So, are you gearing up for some summer fun? We had a fun family outing over Memorial Day weekend. We took a trip to Antelope Island State Park. The beach isn’t quite Hawaii status, and you really can go swimming in the water, but it is really scenic, and there’s lots of neat animals to see.
