Happy New Year…almost! Tomorrow is New Year’s eve, and Friday we are welcoming a brand spankin’ new year. New Year’s has to be the holiday that sneaks up on me more than any other. Being less than a week after Christmas, I feel like I never have enough time to make plans. But, this year, I still wanted to throw together a party (even if it is last-minute), and if you’d like to do the same, I’ve got just the thing. These new year tags and toppers are the cute and simple DIY touch you need to put on a fabulous get-together!
Pretty cute, huh! I used my confetti patterns I created last week for these, and I think they are adorable!
Staying up until midnight is kind of a regular occurrence for me. Once I get home from work, have dinner, and put the little guy to bed, the real work begins (aka THIS)! And once that’s done, I have to reward myself with a little sit com induced decompression (lately, my favorite has been Parks and Recreation—super funny). So yeah, it’s a rare day indeed that I actually go to bed at a decent time. With the exception of Fridays—the one day of the week I could actually stay up late and I almost never take advantage of it (probably because I’m so sleep deprived from the rest of the week).
New Year’s Eve tends to have that affect on me too. I am pretty sure I fell asleep on the couch before midnight even came the past two years (how lame is that). Not this year though! It’s time to get my party on!
