Welcome to a new week! I’ve got a cute and simple printable to share with you today that will help you show your appreciation to someone who serves you every day, but whom you might not think about all that often—your mail carrier. Download these fun cards and tags, and thank your mail carrier today!
A couple weeks ago someone told me about how here sister is always doing sweet things for people, even things as simple as leaving a treat and a “thank you” note for their mail carrier. I thought that was such an awesome idea! So, I tucked it away and figured I’d make a printable to go along with it later.
Last Thursday (February 4th) I decided it was time to pull that idea back out and create a printable for Monday’s post (a.k.a. the one you are reading right now). But, right before I began, I decided to check and see if there happen to be a holiday designated for this sort of thing. I mean, if there’s an official “Talk Like a Pirate Day,” then there must be a “Thank Your Mail Carrier Day.” After a split second Google search, I learned two things: (1) There is an official “Thank Your Mail Carrier Day,” and (2) It is on February 4th (the exact day I happen to be searching this obscure thing).
I couldn’t believe that really happened, but after a little more investigating, it turned out to be true: February 4th really and truly is”Thank Your Mail Carrier Day.” So, I suppose today’s post may be a little late in coming, but is it ever too late to show your appreciation to someone?
The printable I created includes both a card and a couple tags. Simply print off the card, cut it out, and place it in your mail box, or attach one of the tags to a little treat like I did!
I love that this has the potential to brighten someone’s day a little bit even though it is so simple in nature.
Enjoy the printable, and maybe next year we can both mark our calendars and remember to thank our mail carriers on February 4th!
