All of my crafty peeps, this one’s for you! I got myself some fun, new art supplies last week, and decided to take them for a spin. See how I used Sharpie Paint Markers to make these super cute, monogram plant pots, and download your very own stencils.
I have some succulents planted outside, and I’ve been dying to get some for my office. When I had this idea for creating plant pot stencils, I figured it was about time.
Have you heard of Sharpie Paint Markers before? Let me tell you: they are fantastic! They can be used on virtually any surface, and they make painting an absolute breeze. I really like how easy it is to add fine detail with them too. You can get them at Michaels along with your pots.
What You Need
- My Stencils
- Contact Paper
- X-acto Knife or Cutting Machine
- Oil Based Sharpie Paint Markers
- Plant Pots
Be sure to check your local newspaper and online for Michaels coupons while supplies last. All Sharpie Paint Pens are BOGO 50% off at Michaels June 5th through 11th and again June 19th through 25th while supplies last.
How to Make
1. Either print off and cut out the stencils of your choosing, or use a cutting machine to create your stencils from contact paper.
(Sorry it is so hard to see the cuts in my contact paper: photographing transparent paper is difficult.)
2. Place your stencils on your pot, and use your Sharpie Paint Markers to fill them in.
3. Repeat to your heart’s content.
I just can’t get enough of how easy these paint markers are to use! No brushes, no mess, and they go on so smooth. Definitely makes for an easy party craft or DIY you can get the kids in on. And I just love doing monogram crafts! I feel like it just adds an extra personal touch.
Have fun using my stencils! Whether you’re decorating plant pots for a party, as a gift, or for yourself, you’re sure to have a blast, and I’m sure you’ll love using Sharpie Paint Markers too!
