It’s February you guys—FEBRUARY! I know this may not mean all that much to you, but it has special significance for me. Why? Because it’s the month we’re finally going to get to meet baby Elliott! So, amongst packing for the hospital, setting up the rest of the baby accessories, and dusting off the carseat, it’s time to start gathering predictions from family and friends. That’s why I’ve made this cute, baby prediction printable, and thought I would share it with all of you.
Gathering up everyone’s predictions for the new baby has always been a fun tradition in my family and, I suspect, lots of other people’s families as well. Though, mine might be one of the only families that responds to someone predicting the baby’s weight to be anything less that 9 pounds with, “So you think it will be a small baby, huh?”
And it’s pretty true. At 8 lbs 9 oz, I was one of the smallest of my parent’s ten children (the smallest of all being my twin brother and sister at over 7 lbs each…and they were TWINS). My mom said that giving birth to the twins was by far the easiest labor of them all. Compared to 9 and 10 pound babies, she says that those little 7 pounders just “slid right out!”
Baby Elliott’s due date is February 28, but, since this isn’t my first rodeo, they won’t make me wait an extra week past my due date to be induced (like they did the first time around)! So, this time, I’m excited that I really can plan on a February birthday (yippee)!
I’m so excited to meet the little guy who’s been squirming around inside me for the past 8 (and, most noticeably, 3) months! Davian is stoked to be a big brother, and I know he’s going to do a great job of looking out for Elliott (and helping him get into trouble).
