Are you pumped to get this week started or what? I’m particularly excited for today’s post because, not only do I have a great freebie for all my LDS readers, but I have a big announcement about a project that I’ve had in the works for quite some time. So, don’t miss this Angel Moroni cut file, and check out the cool project I’ve been working on.
Here at Designs By Miss Mandee, I make a few, casual comments about my religion from time to time: I’ll posts some quotes from general conference, mention a family member serving a mission, and create some printable Visiting Teaching Messages each month. But, if you weren’t entirely sure before, I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (a.k.a. a Mormon)!
Now, onto the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!
As you know, I love to create die cut designs! Well, for a while now, I’ve wanted to take this love of die cuts and apply it toward creating LDS temple designs. That dream is finally coming to fruition with my brand new Etsy Shop, LDS Temples By Miss Mandee!

I have been working so hard the past few weeks to create these lovely designs, and I can’t even tell you how excited I am to finally share them with you! It’s amazing how special and unique each and every temple is, and it’s been an awesome challenge to figure out how to capture each temple’s individual beauty while making them recognizable.
Since paper is my favorite medium, it was important to me that all of my temple designs are able to be cut from paper without any pieces getting “left behind” on the cutting mat. So, when you use one of my files, you can feel free to use vinyl, paper, or whatever medium suites your fancy without worry.
These files also work great as overlays or watermarks as part of wedding invitations or signage; so, even if you don’t have a cutting machine, the applications are endless!
I hope you enjoy the free, Angel Moroni cut file! And be sure to check out all the temple designs I have so far (you better believe there are more in the works)! As always, I appreciate the support you guys give me, and I thank you for making this all possible.

August 25, 2021 at 2:49 pm (2 years ago)Thanks for the Angel Moroni download. How did you achieve the burnished gold effect?
Mandee
August 26, 2021 at 9:43 am (2 years ago)I did that in Adobe Illustrator, by creating a clipping mask. But you could use gold foil and a laminator machine to achieve the effect in real life. 🙂

July 4, 2022 at 11:00 am (11 months ago)I purchased the Richmond Temple SVG to make Christmas gifts for my YW. I used frosted glass vinyl on a small mirror (round coaster) to remind the YW to see themselves at the temple. I’ve also made night lights for my grandchildren. This file is phenomenal. My pictures did not turn out well–too many shadows and my own reflection in the mirror. But, if I ever figure it out, I will upload.
