Time to share a little love with the educators in your life! Next week is teacher appreciation week, and I’ve got the perfect addition to your child’s gift. These teacher appreciation gift tags are just the thing you need to give that thoughtful present a bee-utiful finishing touch.
I love doing bumble bee designs! They are just so cute, fun to draw, and they give such a nice, spring feel to a design. And what I like about these gift tags is how versatile they are! They don’t necessarily have to go with one specific kind of teacher gift. If you’d like to, they would pair wonderfully with a jar of honey, Burt’s Bees lip balm, or some milk and honey soap; but, you could include one of these with pretty much any gift, and it would be sweet.
My kids are still just little, so they’re not in school quite yet; but, being from a family of educators, I know how nice it is for teachers to get recognition and be appreciated. Almost everyone in both my family and my husband’s family is in education or is working toward an education degree. My mom use to teach elementary school, my dad teaches History, my father-in-law is a superintendent, I have a brother-in-law that is a Spanish teacher, another brother-in-law is working on his English PHD, two of my brothers are going into Special Education teaching, and even my husband just got his teaching certification! It’s kind of a wonder that I ended up going into graphic design: I suppose I’m the oddball.
Thanking a teacher doesn’t need to involve anything over-the-top. Really, a simple treat or small gift can mean a lot. I hope you use these teacher appreciation gift tags to bring a smile to a teacher’s face!

May 21, 2018 at 9:51 am (6 years ago)Hi Jenn! Yes, all of my files are hosted via Google Drive, so you will need to download them from there using the download button in the upper right-hand corner. If you are on a tablet or mobile device, you will need an app that can open zip files. If you are having trouble, feel free to check out my FAQ section for screenshots of the process. 🙂
