It’s been too long since I’ve done a pom pom craft, don’t you think? Well, when I was thinking of a way to add some flair to my new beach bag, the idea for these pineapple pom poms came to mind, and I just couldn’t resist! Check them out for yourself, and download my simple template to make your own.
Because I like to crochet occasionally, I happen to have a lot of yarn on hand; and felt is never in short supply in my craft hoard either. That’s one of the reasons making pom pom crafts is so fun—I can whip them up without even needing to take a trip to the store!
(Hint: I you happen to use the same pom pom maker set that I have, I used the green one to make the bigger pineapple, and the yellow one for the smaller pineapples. If you don’t have these pom pom makers readily available, then you can use the printable pom pom maker template I shared a while back to achieve the same results.)
I love how simple and cute these pineapple pom poms turned out! We are taking a trip back to my homeland (aka Hawaii) in just a couple weeks, and I can’t wait to go to the beach every day with my newly accessorized beach bag!
These pineapple pom poms would also make a great garland for a summer or luau-themed party. I can say from experience that my pom pom creations tend to be a hit with both the kids and the kitties as well, so you really can’t go wrong!
Have fun making your own vibrant, summer creations! What will you use your fruity pom poms for?
