Happy 29th birthday Isaac! Yesterday was my hubby’s birthday, and since doughnuts are his favorite treat, I decided to surprise him at work by bringing him some. In conjunction with this fun surprise, I wanted to design a cute doughnut gift tag for his birthday presents. Whether you’ve got a gift that could use a whimsical tag, or simply need more food related paper-crafts in your life, these die cut doughnuts are just what the doctor ordered!
It doesn’t get much cuter than this! You really can’t go wrong when it comes to doughnuts. And I love how versatile die cut crafts like this are! Mix and match different colors of paper for unlimited combinations of frosting and sprinkles. Or just use the base frosting cut, and draw your own drizzle design on top.
All you need to make these scrumptious die cut doughnuts is:
- Colored Cardstock
- A Cutting Machine (Like a Cricut or Silhouette)
If you don’t have a cutting machine, I have included a printable PDF template you can use to trace and cut your pieces out by hand.
It was so fun to surprise my husband and his class (he’s a high school teacher, by the way)! I work about 30 minutes away from him, so he wasn’t expecting me to drop by. And since I got enough doughnuts for all the students in that class, I’m pretty sure they love me now.
If you like these tasty die cut doughnuts, then you should check out these adorable doughnut patterns I created a while back.
Enjoy this scrumptious doughnut design! What do you have in mind for these cuties? And what other kinds of die cut creations would you love to see?
