Feeling lucky? With St. Patrick’s Day right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to spread some Irish cheer on the blog. Make your way to the end of the rainbow, find yourself a pot of gold, and create this cute little die cut leprechaun!
Who couldn’t use a cheery little leprechaun in their life? I haven’t experimented a ton with layered paper cut designs like this, but I’m loving the results! A couple months ago, I made these lovely mermaids; I had a lot of fun mixing up the paper colors and turning one design into three very different finished products.
While I didn’t go quite as crazy with the different colors with these guys (I wanted to stick with green, after all), I really enjoyed all the little details these fellas have. They would make a great addition to a DIY card or as St. Paddy’s Day party decorations!
All you need to make these cute leprechauns is:
- Colored Cardstock
- A Cutting Machine (Like a Cricut or Silhouette)
- Glue
You can use these pictures as reference to see how they are put together. I’ve also included a pdf in the download that not only has the leprechaun template, but a colored image of the design all pieced together as well.
Enjoy making this fun die cut leprechaun! What plans do you have for these little cuties?
