All you die cut lovers out there, get ready for a truly magical new design! After having so much fun with the mermaids I made a while back, I decided to continue the theme of mythical creatures in my next paper art creation. Download the template for this enchanting die cut unicorn, and create your very own unicorns and pegacorns!
I am practically giddy at how cute these turned out! While I was sketching the design for the unicorn, I decided to add some wings just in case I wanted a pegacorn variation, and I’m really glad I did. I love the effect the wings give the overall design. Of course, if you want a more traditional unicorn, or if you are a unicorn purist you can easily leave them off.
I have a little sister and little brother who are big fans of My Little Pony. I think they are going to really like this die cut unicorn!
All you need to make these cute unicorns is:
- Colored Cardstock
- A Cutting Machine (Like a Cricut or Silhouette)
- Glue
You can use these pictures as reference to see how they are put together. I’ve also included a pdf in the download that not only has the unicorn template, but a colored image of the design all pieced together as well.
What I love about these paper projects is that you can take one design and change it up infinitely. Use sparkly paper, use matte card stock, or use metallic accents—use all the colors of the rainbow, or just use shade os pink—it’s up to you!

I was wondering if you ever considered using the pen function of the cricut to draw in the details such as the lines on the unicorn horn and the eyelashes for those of us that do not have any artistic skill at all.
