DIY Disney Patches – Part 2

Here at the Thomas house, we’ve got that pesky travel itch. And I bet you can’t guess the destination we’re itching to travel to. Okay, you’re right: it’s Disney! We are taking a trip to Disney World next month, and I am so excited! So, in a effort to get some of my anticipatory energy out, I’ve been working on some fun Disney-themed crafts. Check out the new, DIY Disney patches I put together, and download the printable template to make your own!

A couple years ago, hubby and I took a trip to Disneyland, and I had the idea to create some DIY patches to accessorize my backpack. I loved how they turned out, and ended up getting tons of compliments on them while we were there. So I thought it would be fun to do another round of patch designs for this trip!

DIY Disney Patches

I even created a set of patches based on Disney villains, so be sure to check those out as well!

In the download is a template including all the little pieces for each patch design along with an image with suggested colors/layout. Feel free to get creative, though; based on your own color preferences and what you have available!

Which design is your favorite? I really like how Mulan turned out: Davian (my four-year-old) is definitely partial to the Stitch design.

Whether you’ve got a fun family trip coming up, or are just looking for an affordable, cute craft, I hope you enjoy making these DIY Disney patches as much as I have!

    Hi Miss Mandee,
I love your patches but am having difficulty downloading the templates. I’ve 3 different sets thinking maybe one had an old or bad link. Could you send me all the templates?? or a link to Google drive?
    Thank you.

      Hi Shelly,

Hmm, I’m not sure what the problem might be. It seems to be working fine on my end (the download linking here). I would possibly try a different browser and see if that works better for you.

    Hi Mandee!

Your designs are great – thanks a lot from a family of german disney-fans!

I would love to try the patches as a cutout from foam (sponge rubber?) to create xmas-decorations.

Is it possible to get the patches as a SVG-file, because I fail to convert from pdf to svg?

Best regards an have a happy holiday!
