It’s time to celebrate Mom! With Mother’s Day right around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about how you want to celebrate the moms and mother figures in your your life. And what better place to start than a beautiful gift tag? Check out these stunning Mother’s Day heart gift tags and make one for yourself.
These tags turned out even prettier than I imagined! I especially love the rose one.
I’m lucky enough to have multiple awesome female role models in my life, and I always like to recognize them in some way on Mother’s Day. Flowers are one of my go-to gifts, so that’s one of the reasons I focused on floral elements in these designs.
I use a Cricut Explore to do my die cut designs, and I absolutely love it! For tips on creating delicate paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out the other awesome Mother’s Day freebies available on my blog!
And, since this is a Mother’s Day post, I think I’ll share a couple random memories I have of my own mom:
- Playing high school tennis, each of us on the team had a certain snack we were known for always bringing. Mine happened to be (Extreme) Pizza Goldfish. My mom always made sure to have a stash of these very particular Goldfish snacks on hand so that I could take them with me to my tennis matches.
- Keeping with the food theme, my mom will often cut a bowl of fruit without me even asking and just hand it to me. (1) This is amazingly sweet, like, what better way to show someone you love them, right? and (2) sometime it’s a whole mango, and that’s just pure bliss. P.S. I’m a full-gown adult now, but if I’m ever over at her house and sit at the table long enough, this will still happen more often than not.
I hope you enjoy my newest cut file designs! Do you have a special mother or mother-figure in your life that you’d like to share one of these Mother’s Day heart gift tags with?
