Get ready, because everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is taking over the blog today! I’ve got a brand new, SUPER installment in my Disney Paper Lanterns series to share with all of you. See Jack Jack, Violet, Dash, and the whole gang in my Incredibles paper lantern design.
With so many characters to love, I just knew I needed to create a place for everyone in this design: Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, Frozone, Violet, Dash, Jack Jack—I even saved a place for Edna Mode.
While I, of course, love how all of the characters ended up fitting together, I actually really like the way they are framed as well, with the cityscape above/behind them!
Have you seen the new Incredibles movie yet? My 4-year-old didn’t have the adoration for it that I might have hoped, but he was a big fan of Jack Jack! For a solid three days after he saw the movie, he refused to call his baby brother by any other name than “Jack Jack.”
To learn how to assemble my paper lanterns, see this tutorial.
I use a Cricut Explore to do my die cut designs, and I absolutely love it! For tips on creating this delicate paper cut, see the FAQ section on my website.
Like most all my paper lanterns, removing the final design from your cutting mat is as much of an art as the cut itself, so be sure to go slowly.
Enjoy putting my Incredibles paper lantern together! What plans do you have for this lantern? Do you have an Incredibles fan in your life that would appreciate this unique, crafty design?
