It’s the season of spooky spells, preternatural potions, and wicked witches. And where can you find all of those elements and more—Harry Potter! If you’ve got a Harry Potter Halloween party in the works, then you won’t want to miss today’s freebie. Use these die cut floating candles to turn any space into the Great Hall at Hogwarts.
A couple years ago, my mother-in-law staged her garage to look like the Great Hall for a Halloween dinner, and I remember how cool it looked! The tables had a few decorations, and the walls had some Harry Potter-esque trimmings, but it was the ceiling that really pulled it all together. Having a bunch of “floating candles” hanging from fishing line really gave it that magical Hogwarts feel.
I feel like you really can’t go wrong with a Harry Potter-themed Halloween party. There are so many sources to pull inspiration from, and a myriad of eerie occurrences in the books/movies.
I use a Cricut Explore to do my die cut designs, and I absolutely love it! For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out the other awesome Harry Potter freebies available on my blog!
Enjoy my new die cut floating candles! Are you planning a get together for Halloween? If so, do you plan to include any Harry Potter theming?
