Everyone has made paper snowflakes before—you know the kind I’m talking about: where you fold a piece of paper into a triangle, cut away sections, and hope that maybe this time it won’t come out so blocky. Well, today, I’m helping you take your paper snowflake game to the next level. Use my templates to create intricate, beautiful die cut snowflakes, and make everyone believe that you are the paper snowflake master!

I was itching to create some snowflake cut file designs for the winter season, but was hesitant because I thought I already had some available here. Turns out that I’ve only done hand drawn snowflakes in the past along with some special, Frozen-themed snowflakes for my Etsy Shop. So I was pretty excited to make some specifically to share with all of you!

I had so much fun creating these lovely snowflake designs. I decided to go with a line-based aesthetic for these, and I just love how they turned out.

These snowflakes would be super pretty in so many different implementations: hanging from the ceiling, as part of a tablescape, or used to decorate a winter scrapbook page. I’m hosting my family for Christmas this year, and I think I’m going to put one of these on each plate.

I use a Cricut Explore to do my die cut designs, and I absolutely love it! For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out some other awesome Christmas freebies available on my blog!
Enjoy using my die cut snowflakes to spruce-up your holiday decor or crafty winter project! How do you plan to implement these delicate new designs?
