We are officially one week away from Christmas, can you believe it? If you’ve still got presents to wrap and are looking for that final, special something, then I’ve got just the thing for you! Use these die cut winter gift tags to give your presents an extra thoughtful touch.
Gift tags are one of those go-to designs I create just about every year because (1)They are really fun to design, and (2)They are super useful! I could always stand to have a few more gift tags on hand, and it’s fun to mix things up with new designs.
This time around, I decided to go with a more simplified style, leaving room for you to write directly on the tag. You can make these into double-layered tags like the ones I’ve done in the past, or simply use your wrapping paper as a backdrop for the cut-out space in the design.
Which one of these die cut winter gift tags is your favorite? I think I’m partial to the red cardinal.
I use a Cricut Explore to do my die cut designs, and I absolutely love it! For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out some other awesome Christmas freebies available on my blog!
Enjoy using these gift tags to dress up your holiday gifts! Do you still have a pile of presents to wrap, or have you been on the ball this year?

December 18, 2018 at 12:22 pm (6 years ago)These are charming. I make cards for a local charity that sends caring bags of stuff to kids in hospitals. I’m going to enlarge these tags a bit and add a note of best wishes to them and use them as cheer-uppers. The cardinals and pine cones will be great to use all winter long.
Thanks for another handy project!
