Basketball Die Cuts – Birthday Party Decor

It’s birthday season in the Thomas household! My hubby just celebrated his 30th (woo!), and my little boy is next. With Elliott’s birthday about a month away, I decided to get a jump on some die cut decorations. Use these basketball die cuts for your own hoop-tackular party or scrapbook design.

I didn’t know it was possible for a child under the age of two to be as obsessed with basketball as Elliott is, but it sure makes his dad proud! He enthusiastically takes “shots” all the time: at his miniature basketball hoop, in trash cans, and, occasionally, at his parent’s faces when they aren’t paying attention.

And it’s not even just playing basketball that he loves—he actually enjoys watching basketball too! He can’t sit through Frozen, but if my husband turns on a basketball game, he’s practically glued to the TV.

So, doing a basketball theme for Elliott’s 2nd birthday was a pretty easy choice. And, with a basketball coach for a husband, I’m sure I’ll find plenty of uses for these designs in the future!

I’m thinking of possibly making Elliott a basketball-themed birthday crown, and I’m tossing around ideas for a “photo backdrop” wall as well. If you have any fun suggestions for a basketball party, I’m all ears!

I use a Cricut Maker to do my die cut designs, and I absolutely love it! For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out some other awesome party freebies available on my blog!

Enjoy putting these fun basketball die cuts to use! Do you have any basketball-lovers in your family?

I am new at using my Cricut so I don’t quite understand the language of the”Website” at the bottom you are asking for. I use AT&T if that helps any.
