Glue sticks and notebooks are front and center at every store, so you know what time of year it is—it’s back to school season! To celebrate, I’ve got a fun new design that’s perfect for scrapbooking mamas and teachers alike. Make this die cut school bus, and start the school year off on the right
Aren’t these just the cutest? My plan was actually to just make the bus design; but, when I saw the empty windows, I just knew that they’d look even cuter with some adorable little faces poking out.
And the fun part about the kids is how customizable they are. You can change up the skin color, hair, and gender super easily! So, if you’re looking to create something resembling a specific group of kiddos, you totally can.
I showed these buses to my 5-year-old to get his opinion, and he loved them! He immediately wanted to make them a part of one of his imaginative games. I had to take them back pretty quickly, though, because I hadn’t photographed them yet. But now they’re officially a part of his vehicle collection!
I use Adobe Illustrator for all of my designs, and a Cricut Maker to bring my creations to life. For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out the other awesome die cut freebies available on my blog!
Enjoy making this fun, customizable die cut school bus! Are you looking forward to the new school year?
