All aboard! The Hogwarts Express is about to leave Platform 9 3/4 on its annual journey to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You’ve got your train ticket, now hop on board and experience some of the magic with this fun, die cut Hogwarts Express Train design.
After creating a Platform 9 3/4 train ticket during the back to school season last year, I thought it would be fun to match it with its steam engine counterpart this year.
Both my little brothers and my own sons love trains! So, between their love/obsession with trains and my love/obsession with all things Harry Potter, this die cut has something for everybody to enjoy.
The fun thing about this design is that you can add as many passenger cars as you’d like. So, if you have a long board in a classroom or library to fill, you can just keep attaching passenger cars to fill up the space!
I know a lot of districts have already started the school year. My son still has a couple more weeks before he starts Kindergarten (man, that’s crazy to think about). I remember loving school at that age, and I can’t wait for him to become more immersed in learning each day!
I use Adobe Illustrator for all of my designs, and a Cricut Maker to bring my creations to life. For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out the other awesome Harry Potter freebies available on my blog!
Enjoy making this Hogwarts Express Train! Have your witches and wizards started school yet?
