Okay, just one more Halloween post! With the year’s most haunting holiday just a week away, I thought I’d share some more delightfully eerie designs. Use these adorable die cut spiders and their webs to dress up your Halloween scrapbook pages or decor!
I’m not one to allow spiders to creep around my house, but I’ve decided to make an exception for these little guys. Maybe it’s the subtle glitter paper, but there’s just something kind of charming about them.
My 5-year-old son LOVES spiders! And I don’t mean that he’s simply not scared of them, or even merely tolerant of them—he loves them. He loves to find them outside and make up exciting stories about their lives; and he genuinely thinks they are adorable. Now, I’m not particularly “scared” of spiders myself, but I definitely don’t have any qualms about squishing them if they invade my personal space. So he doesn’t get that affection from me.
My son loves spiders so much that his answer to the commonly asked question, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” is a spider. Yup, my son aspires to be an eight-legged, web spinning, fly-eating SPIDER.
So, for Halloween, he is going to be dressed up as, you guessed it, a spider. He’s thrilled about his costume, and can’t wait to scare all of his friends!
I use Adobe Illustrator for all of my designs, and a Cricut Maker to bring my creations to life. For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out the other Halloween freebies available on my blog!
Even if you don’t loves arachnids quite as much as my son, I hope you enjoy putting these die cut spiders to good use in your next creepy-crafty project!
