Fall is in full swing here in Northern Utah! And when there’s a chill in the air, there is no better time to break out the cozy sweaters and warm drinks. So, today I’m sharing some adorable die cut tea kettles that are sure to warm your crafty soul!
When I was little, we (my siblings and multitude of cousins) visited my grandma’s house all the time; and we played outside no matter what the weather was like. During the fall and winter months, I remember my grandma getting out her tea kettle and warming up water so that we could make hot cocoa when we came inside. At home, we always just used the microwave to warm up water for cocoa. So, pouring the water into my cup through the kettle’s cool spout and hearing it whistle on the stove was an extra cool treat!
As the weather gets cooler, my hot cocoa cravings have started up again, and that made me think of my grandma’s house and her tea kettle.
I had a really good time coming up with the shapes and patterns for these tea pots! For something so simple, there really are so many different ways to make them unique.
I use Adobe Illustrator for all of my designs, and a Cricut Maker to bring my creations to life. For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out the other fall freebies available on my blog!
Enjoy creating some die cut tea kettles of your own! Do you have a favorite drink you like to indulge in during the colder months?
