I’ve been designing desktop calendars for five years now! I just always love having a pretty backdrop and a calendar to glance at.
Around this time of year, I also like to reflect on some past accomplishments and set some new goals. So, here are some successes of 2019 and goals for 2020:
2019 Accomplishments

- Added a beautiful baby girl to our family
- Quit my day job to make Designs By Miss Mandee my full time gig
- Opened my Silhouettes By Miss Mandee Etsy shop
- Started making super cool, 3D cut file designs
- Took my family to Disneyland, and also did a road trip to the Oregon coast
- Read 38 books (totaling nearly 16,000 pages)
- Finished landscaping our backyard
- Paid off the solar panels on our house
2020 Goals
-
- Start my “Craft With Me” video series
- Earn enough money through Designs By Miss Mandee (and associated projects) to support my family
- Paint and fix up the bathrooms in our house
- Continue to expand my 3D design collection
- Take my family on a fun vacation
- Use the extra time I have with my kids now to make lasting memories

Mandee is a professional graphic designer, amateur bird watcher, and rollercoaster enthusiast. She is a wife to hardworking high school teacher and mommy to three adorable little humans. She fell in love with graphic design when she started working on a comedy website with a guy she met her freshman year of college. Design wasn’t the only thing she fell in love with, and they were married a year and a half later.
