December is here—a month of celebrating with family and friends, sharing, baking, and, of course, watching cheesy, feel-good movies. But, even if you’ve haven’t broken out the Hallmark films just yet, I’ve got some new cut files that are sure to get you in the holiday spirit! Make these Christmas treat boxes, and package up all your yummy goodies in handmade love.
I (obviously) love to design/craft all year long, but there is just something about this time of year that really gets me in the mood to take on more handmade projects. Maybe it’s due to all the time spent indoors. At any rate, embracing the season while designing these boxes was just a blast!
I only planned on doing rectangular containers, but, part way through, I got the urge to do snowflake designs. So that’s why I decided to add a unique, hexagon-shaped box to the mix!
It seems like with every day that we draw closer to Christmas, my gifting list grows longer and longer. So I wanted to make a few little boxes to have on hand that I can use to package up some chocolates or my homemade caramels (when I get around to making them).
I use Adobe Illustrator for all of my designs, and a Cricut Maker to bring my creations to life. For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out the other Christmas freebies available on my blog!
Enjoy making some Christmas treat boxes of your own! What kinds of goodies do you plan to fill these festive containers with?
