‘Tis the season for cold weather and hot cocoa! Today’s design is perfect for anyone who is looking to spread a little more holiday cheer this season. Use these die cut hot cocoa holders to share the crafty Christmas spirit with all of your friends and neighbors.
Since I’m not a morning person, I’m always in a rush to get out the door. That’s why I usually mix myself a breakfast drink instead of sitting down to eat. But, with all this cold weather we’ve been having in northern Utah, I’ve found myself reaching for the hot cocoa every morning instead of my usual breakfast drink mix. There’s just something about settling in to a warm, minty cup of cocoa that makes a cold, dark morning more bearable.
There are just a few people I have left on my Christmas list this year that I want to show appreciation for: the crossing guards at my son’s school, the kids’ teachers at church, and the grocery pickup peeps at Walmart (you all are seriously the BEST! I can’t even imagine what grocery shopping with three little ones would be like; and, thanks to you, I don’t have to). Since I’ve been enjoying cocoa so much this season, I figured that enfolding some cocoa packets with a unique, die cut design would be a fun project!
I really love how the delicate cocoa mug design came out overall! And you could always spruce up this gift with some ribbon, or by attaching a candy cane with washi tape.
I use Adobe Illustrator for all of my designs, and a Cricut Maker to bring my creations to life. For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out the other Christmas freebies available on my blog!
