Happy New Year everyone! A new year, of course, means it’s time to swap out that old calendar. Today, I’m sharing a cute little 2020 easel calendar that is sure to add a fun touch to your office or craft room!
Every year, I make some fun desktop calendars for my digital workspace. A few months ago, I had someone request a printed version of my desktop calendars. So, this year, I thought it would be fun to add a crafty, die cut calendar to the mix!
For this design, I based the layout on the navy and floral design included in my digital calendar set. I just couldn’t get enough of those pretty, line-based flowers!
Having the year pop out from the easel was kind of an afterthought, and I just love the way it turned out! I think it adds a fun, modern touch to the overall design.
If you’re one that prefers to glance at a printed calendar, then this little guy is perfect for you! After assembling the easel design, you can use the PDF included in the download to print and cut out your calendars. Then, easily swap them out each month by sliding them in/out of the pre-cut slits!
I use Adobe Illustrator for all of my designs, and a Cricut Maker to bring my creations to life. For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out the other awesome freebies available on my blog!
Enjoy putting this lovely 2020 easel calendar together! What do you think: should I start making these every year along with my digital calendars?
