Christmas may be over, but winter is still in full force here in Northern Utah! To celebrate the season of ice and snow, I’ve got some brand new, unique cut files for you today. Share these awesome Harry Potter snowflakes with a beloved witch or wizard in your life, and spread some winter cheer!
A couple years ago, I shared some intricate, die cut snowflake designs. Even though I’m not the biggest fan of winter, I remember having a great time finding the beauty in this frigid season through making those snowflakes. So, I thought it would be fun to revisit that idea but include an even more “magical” twist.
As you may be able to guess, my inspiration for these three designs were:
- Hogwarts Houses
- Harry Potter Himself
It’s been a minute since I’ve shared any designs inspired from the Wizarding World, and it was fun to revisit one of my favorite themes. I’m usually more drawn to delicate snowflake designs, but I really love how the sorting hat/Hogwarts house snowflake turned out! When I was first sketching out my ideas, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to add the sorting hat or not, but I’m really glad I did.
I use Adobe Illustrator for all of my designs, and a Cricut Maker to bring my creations to life. For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out the other awesome Harry Potter freebies available on my blog!
Enjoy making these Harry Potter snowflakes for yourself! Which of the three designs do you like best?
