3D Lemonade Stand – Summer Cut Files

I don’t know about you, but warm weather always takes me to my happy place: a place of green grass, sunshine, and cold drinks! It was as I was sipping one such cold drink that I got the idea for today’s paper craft. So, step right up, and cool off with a refreshing drink from my 3D lemonade stand!

Seriously, how adorable is this!?

I really wanted to create something bright and cheery to celebrate the summer season, and I feel like this really hits all the marks.

3D Lemonade Stand

Supplies

How to Make It

1. Use your cutting machine or X-ACTO knife, along with my template, to cut out all of the lemonade stand pieces.

Note: If you are using the SVG files that includes the score lines, don’t forget to set them as such in Cricut Design Space and attach them to their shapes before sending through your cutting machine. I used a lime green color to mark the score lines, so hopefully that helps! The hot pink lines are used to make cuts, but be sure to attach them as well. If you’re not using the SVG file that includes score lines, you can use the PDF version as a reference to know where your folds should go.

2. You’ll want to cut your popsicle sticks in half (I just did this by strong-arming some scissors as well as an X-ACTO knife, but you may have more sophisticated tools than me) and paint them before working on the everything else. This way, they’ll have time to dry.

Then, fold and assemble the four posts (two will be shorter than the others).

Attach the posts to your countertop piece. Make sure that the the shorter posts go on the front of the countertop, and the taller ones go in back, with the angled ends pointing up.

After that, you can fold and attach your canopy pieces, angling it downward.

3. Next, attach your popsicle sticks to the front of your lemonade stand base, aligning them along the bottom edge. (Be sure not to glue them over top of your score marks.)

Fold in the edges and top. Attach them using the tabs provided.

Assemble the tabletop pieces (lemonade pitcher, cake/stand, and mason jar mug). Add any hand drawn elements you’d like. Then, use the tabs on the bottom to attach them to the countertop.

fold in the edges of the countertop, and attach that whole section to the lemonade stand base. (It is designed to have a slight overhand on each side, in order to give it more dimension.)

4. Finally, assemble the rest of the embellishment pieces and add your own, hand-drawn touches!

Use the small diamond pieces along with a strand of bakers twine to create a mini bunting banner. You can attach it straight across, or in an asymmetric manner as I have.

Attach the lemons wherever you’d like, and create a fun little sandwich board sign using the larger, rectangular pieces.

I don’t often do a whole lot of hand-drawn touches, so it is fun to see how those little flourishes really pull this 3D lemonade stand together! The sandwich board pieces were ones I added almost as an afterthought, but I really like the extra pop of color and whimsy it brings.

I absolutely adore this lemonade stand! My four and seven-year-old granddaughters in California always do a lemonade stand in the summers!
They will think Nana is amazing when I make this for them! ( Because of Covid I haven’t seen them in many many months!)
I noticed that you are a birdwatcher, and I am as well! Our home and grounds are a Certified wildlife habitat! We live on a Bayou in Southeast Louisiana near New Orleans. It provides a wonderful pallet to encourage many critters!
We have identified almost 100 species of birds that have been in or over our yard in the 20 years we have lived here.
If you are ever down this way, I would love to share with you!
PS just found your blog last night through a post on Cricut design space with Melody Lane! I know I am going to enjoy it. thank you for all you do!

Ooo, this will be perfect for your granddaughters!!

Yes, I have recently gotten into bird watching, and it’s been a lot of fun! It would be really awesome to visit a bayou sometime, and see birds I never get to see around Utah. Sounds like you live in a scenic place!

And I’m so glad you stumbled across my little corner of the internet. Thanks for being here! ❤️

Your lemonade stand is totally adorable! My life has been overcome by events so I can’t get much crafting done right now. I plan to get back to some creative fun this winter. Yikes, everyone will be working on Christmas now and I’m still not ready for last year! You are so amazing, you probably have everything done for the next three years. I love all your makes, thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talent!

I have downloaded you file twice and each time when I unzip this file I do not get an svg file and the others do not provide a cut file and receiving a message that says there is an error. What am I doing wrong or is this a corrupted file? Thanks as I would like to have this pattern!

This is just such a cute project. With different colours it could be an apple or veggie stand in the autumn too. Thank you!

hi! trying to make this for my daughter’s first birthday party coming up 🙂 It looks like there are 4 canopy pieces on the template but 8 in your photo should we duplicate 4 more or am I not seeing something? Lol thank you!

The canopy backing serves as alternating color, so you just need to attach the four little stipe pieces at alternating intervals. 🙂
