It’s summer time: my favorite season! Summer time, for me, means warm weather, playing outside every evening, and flip flops. So, today, I thought it could be fun to share some adorable and unique die cut flip flops!
Seriously, casual footwear is one of the best things about summer. I absolutely despise the hassle of putting on socks and lacing up shoes. Plus, I just think that warm weather footwear is super cute.
Back in my middle school/high school days, bright colored flip flops were all the rage! I remember going to Old Navy and buying their cheap flip flops every time they were on sale.
I also remember getting crafty with those flip flops as well. We would cut strips of fabric or wrap frilly yarn around the straps to make them extra cute. Do people still do that?
These die cut flip flops are super fun and make a great addition to any summer project! Use them as part of a summer vacation display, as gift tags, or just as a fun project to make with kiddos. I have created four unique designs, along with a bunch of different flower and shell cut-outs, so you can customize them however you’d like!
I use Adobe Illustrator for all of my designs, and a Cricut Maker to bring my creations to life. For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out the other summer freebies available on my blog!
Enjoy putting these die cut flip flops to good use! Are you a summer footwear lover, like me?
