Both Disneyland and Disney World have announced opening dates! But, even if you’re not taking a trip this year, it is never too early to start getting hyped. That’s why, today, I am stoked to share this printable Disney park height requirement ruler with all of you!
I’ve got to be honest: while I get excited about creating new designs, and have tons of fun exploring new ideas, a lot of what I decide to create/share here on my site is for YOU. But, this printable design—this one is definitely for me.
It’s no secret that I am a big fan of all things Disney, but I am a total geek when it comes to Disney parks! Even though we don’t live close to Disneyland or Disney World, we do try to take trips as often as we can, and we always try to make is special!
Going to Disneyland became an *almost* annual tradition in my home, growing up. And, right before we would leave, my dad would measure us. As a kid, there was always a new milestone we were trying to reach—the end goal being that glorious 46″ height minimum to go on Indiana Jones! (Now, the Incredicoaster is basically the tallest height minimum to shoot for, but this was the 90’s—California Adventure didn’t exist yet.)
So, you can see why this printable is particularly nostalgic for me. Now, I look forward to tracking the growth of my own children, while getting them hyped for the next time we go to Disney.
I use Adobe Illustrator for all of my designs. For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out some other awesome Disney freebies available on my blog!
And, if you’re planning a trip to Disney World, you needn’t fear—I’ve included a ruler that includes the height requirements for rides from all four Disney World parks in the download as well!
Enjoy putting my Disney park height requirement ruler to good use! Are you hoping to take a trip to Disneyland or Disney World this year?

My daughter will love this. She and her husband try to go to WDW at least once a year. Sadly, this year looks like it will be cancelled. They wanted to take their daughter, who will be 10 months when they planned to go, to the Not So Scary Halloween Party.
I suspect my daughter will have fun measuring my grand daughter on this to see when she can go on rides herself. And it will be fun to do it right from the beginning!
I think I will look into laminating the pieces.

June 18, 2020 at 9:03 am (3 years ago)I know—it’s been a bummer year for vacations across the board, but I’m really going to miss Disney if we can’t go this year. We also wanted to go to the Not So Scary Halloween Party; but, if masks are still required at that point, I don’t think we’ll be able to do it. My 3-year-old is just not going to be able handle wearing a mask all day long.
At any rate, it’s still fun to get excited about the next trip—whenever that may be! 🙂

June 18, 2020 at 1:41 pm (3 years ago)I love this! We love in Australia and have come over for Disneyland 3 times, Covid put our 4th trip on hold when our borders closed with only 4 sleeps to go- we and our girls were devastated. I still can’t bring myself to wear my Disney shirts very often as we were looking forward to being ‘Home’ so much, but when I’m ready I think this ruler will make a fun addition to our Disney home ❤ thank you xx

May 8, 2022 at 7:19 pm (1 year ago)This is such a great design! I printed, cut on the lines and taped together, and noticed that this is wrong as far as measurements.. a few of the feet only have about 9 inches and the first foot has 11 inches. Just wanted you to know! Otherwise we were so excited to have a cute printable for keeping track of heights for Disney!
