I am having a blast with all my summer projects! Everything about summer is so cheery and bright, and it just makes me happy.

These tropical leaves can be utilized in more ways than I could possibly count. I decided to create a fun mini wreath with a few of the leaves using some hot glue and an embroidery hoop.

I used my bone folder and a scoring tool to curl some of the leaves slightly, and create a few creases/lines. You don’t necessarily have to do that part, but it just helps give your leaves a slightly more “natural” look.

These leaves would also work great as part of a scrapbook page, or make great embellishments on an island-themed t-shirt! I’m sure there are a million other ways you can think of using these designs, so I’ll let you get to it.

I use Adobe Illustrator for all of my designs, and a Cricut Maker to bring my creations to life. For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out the other summer freebies available on my blog!

Enjoy putting these die cut tropical leaves to good use! Feel free to tag me in your summer crafting projects @designsbymissm.

You are such a fantastic designer. I love your tropical leaves and yes, they can be used in a mind-boggling number of ways. One that comes to mind is a knockoff of an art piece that I saw in Hawaii a few years ago. They had simply repeated a leaf design over and over in rows, then matted and framed it. I have always wanted to duplicate the design and your leaves are perfect for this art project. Thank you so much for sharing your incredible talent!

Ooo, that would look awesome! You could do that with some fun, metallic vinyl, or even just cardstock that has been shaped to have a little more dimension. Super cool!!
