The frills are back! It’s time for more intricate, extra special designs. Soak in all the details, and create these lacy placemats for yourself!
With all the fun I had designing my paper lace and doilies, I wanted to keep the lace trend going. At the suggestion of a reader, I decided to give these lacy placemats a go. I am very pleased with the results, and feel like they make a great addition to my other fancy frills!
I have labeled these as “placemats,” but you really could use them in a variety of ways outside of table decoration. They would make superb backdrops for scrapbooking or unique, vintage accents for a poster! You could even use them to frame a silhouette or photograph.
I use Adobe Illustrator for all of my designs, and a Cricut Maker to bring my creations to life. For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out the other beautiful designs available on my blog!

I had the opportunity when she passed to inherit them but at the time I was a teenager and thought i would never use them so I turned them down. UGH. I’m so happy I found your site and these placemats, I’m thinking about laminating them so they will last.
