I just think these would make such beautiful party decorations! And, with such a minimal amount of supplies required, they are a very doable craft.

I wasn’t 100% sure about how these pinwheels would come out, and I am really please with the results! I’m not the only one either: my sons were delighted when they saw them, and have been playing with them pretty much nonstop since I finished taking these photographs.

Pinwheels can be put together a variety of ways. In the past, I’ve made them using pencils and pins. I have also used a bit of wire through a straw to attach them before. These particular pinwheels utilize a combination of both methods: using pins and paper straws to give them a really chic look!

I use Adobe Illustrator for all of my designs, and a Cricut Maker to bring my creations to life. For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out the other Halloween freebies available on my blog!

Enjoy putting these bat wing pinwheels to good use! And b .
