Celebrating summer, one papercraft at a time. Today, I am bringing you another fun project, and this one will not only brighten your day but your night as well! “Dive” right in and make this pretty little dolphin luminary.
Like this design? Consider leaving a tip.
Summer is my favorite season, and I am having so much fun with all these warm-weather-inspired designs. The dolphins on this one just turned out so cute!
These luminaries are designed to fit a standard 1.5″ tealight candle. I ordered a pack of flameless candles from Amazon years ago, and they are still serving me well!
Assembling this project is pretty straightforward. Simply put the little box piece together, gluing the tabs to the inside. Then, layer the vellum and cardstock pieces for each side, and attach them to either side of the box.
These dolphin luminaries would be perfect for an evening, summer get-together, or a romantic at-home spa night! Even if you don’t have any big plans, these little luminaries make for a really fun summer craft.
I use Adobe Illustrator for all of my designs, and a Cricut Maker to bring my creations to life. For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out the other animal-themed freebies available on my blog!
Enjoy putting this dolphin luminary design to good use. And don’t forget to share your lovely, finished creations with me on Instagram!
