A couple of years ago, I shared some animal masks for Halloween. They were super cute, and I wanted to try my hand at mask designs again. And that’s how these impishly enthralling designs came to be!

Intricate Halloween Masks

These delicate, lacy masks were so much fun to create, and are the perfect accessory to an elegant Halloween look! Tie some ribbon to them to wear them all evening long, glue them to a kabob stick to use as photo booth props, or hang them up as part of your Halloween decor! Whatever you choose, you can’t go wrong with these wickedly winsome masks.

I use Adobe Illustrator for all of my designs, and a Cricut Maker to bring my creations to life. For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out the other fun freebies available on my blog!

Enjoy putting these intricate Halloween masks to good use. And don’t forget to share your frightfully fun finished projects with me on Instagram!

Curious as to what you recommend cutting these out of to be able to wear all night – they seem super delicate.

I cut them out of fairly heavy cardstock; so, as long as you weren’t too rough with them, they could likely withstand the length of a party. But, if you want something more durable, you could cut them out of fabric. 🙂

These are stunning! I was so impressed by the design, At first they just looked like pretty lace but once you looked closer at the design the webs and bats were there. You must have such a creative and artistic mind to think these things up! Thank you for sharing! 🙂

OMG! I love these and so did everyone else. I made several and had them lying around when we had a dinner party. Everyone were fighting over who was going to take them home LOL.
Thank you for all the great and wonderful crafts you design. You are amazing.

These are fantastic!!! But, how do you keep them on your face? I mean obviously one could attach ribbon, or elastic, but they seem too delicate to do that

You could use them as photo booth props and just glue them to a stick (like a masquerade mask). Or use ribbon. It would be delicate, but you could double layer the mask to make it studied if you’re worried about ripping it! 🙂
