We are shaking things up today with a papercraft that is like two projects in one. So, let’s celebrate spring with this super fun, rainbow shaker treat box!

I love seeing rainbows in springtime! In fact, I saw the most beautiful double rainbow after a short rainstorm this week. My son really wanted to chase it until we found the pot of gold at the end!
Even though we didn’t find any gold, the rainbows did give me the idea for this treat box design.

For this project, I didn’t want to go with a standard square box, so I decided to make it a little more whimsical with this triangular design. I also included a little window filled with beads to add to the charm of this project even more.
Anyone you gift this to is sure to love it! It’s a toy, it’s pretty, and it’s filled with goodies—what’s not to love?
Note: To fill this treat box, you’ll open/close the flaps at the bottom. So, make sure not to glue those shut when putting the whole thing together, since you won’t be able to fill the box from the top.
I use Adobe Illustrator for all of my designs, and a Cricut Maker to bring my creations to life. For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out the other fun freebies available on my blog!
Enjoy putting this rainbow shaker treat box together. And don’t forget to share your adorable, finished creation with me on Instagram!
