Easter is this weekend, and I have an extra sweet treat to share with you today! “Shake” up your spring festivities with one of these marshmallow peep shakers.

This cute design was picked by my wonderful patrons! Each month, my Patreon subscribers help me choose a couple of the projects I create, and these designs were one of the top picks for April.

Based on the classic (and divisive) Easter treat, these peep shakers are a fun little craft that everyone can enjoy. After adding the little barrier “wall” to the main design, you can fill these guys with all kinds of fun little gems or flowers. Or, if you don’t have any filling supplies on hand, you can simply leave the wall segment out of the design, and you still have yourself some cute little marshmallow peeps!
If you do choose to turn them into shakers, as I’ve done, then you can leave them as-is when finished or attach them to a lollipop stick and make them a party prop or even a cute little cake topper!
I use Adobe Illustrator for all of my designs, and a Cricut Maker to bring my creations to life. For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out the other fun freebies available on my blog!
Enjoy putting these marshmallow peep shakers together. And don’t forget to share your fun, finished creations with me on Instagram!
