Dearest reader, it is with great pleasure that I extend a most exciting invitation to you. Everyone who is anyone will be attending the upcoming ball, and you have an all-access pass to the big event. So, polish your shoes to a shine, and be sure to pick up one of the elegantly designed dance cards at the door.

If you are a fellow fan of the Bridgerton series, then you can probably tell where I got the idea for this design. I thoroughly enjoyed the latest season of the show, and I was so bummed when it was over that I decided to satiate myself by watching a whole bunch of interviews with the cast.
During the cast interviews, a lot of the women mentioned that if they could take something home from the set, they would love to keep a dance card as a memento.
Well, these may not come from the set itself, but they will certainly look nice for a Bridegrton or Victorian-era party!
Note: I tried to include all the pieces for these dance cards in the SVG file, but Cricut Design Space was struggling with the hand-drawn details. So, that’s why there are seperate PNG files with the outside and inside designs. They will work with your typical “print-then-cut” settings, but they will need to be resized to 3.25″ wide and 4.5″ tall.
If you are unfamiliar with the concept of dance cards, here’s the short of it: basically, when a lady attended a formal dance, she would tie one of these cards around her wrist. Inside the card, space was provided for her to write the names of the gentleman she wanted to dance with.
It’s been a while since I have included a hand-drawn element into one of my papercrafts here at Designs By Miss Mandee! And, I’ve got to say, I had a really fun time sketching out these Victorian-inspired illustrations for these dance cards!
I use Adobe Illustrator for all of my designs, and a Cricut Maker to bring my creations to life. For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out the other fun freebies available on my blog!
Enjoy putting these dance cards to good use. And don’t forget to share your lovely finished product with me on Instagram!
