I am back at the card-making game again! And for today’s gruesomely ghoulish papercraft, we are taking a little trip to the cemetery. So, open the gates and see what awaits you in this ghastly graveyard card!

Creating this card was the most fun I’ve had doing a design in quite some time! My initial idea morphed so many times, that the end result is barely recognizable from my original sketches.
At first, I thought I would just make a standard pop-up-style card with a few gravestones that would rise when you opened it up. But, then I thought about what a missed opportunity it would be to make a graveyard without making an ornate gate to go with it.
But I still wanted to incorporate a headstone that could be raised. Oh, and how fun would it be if there was a skeleton hand reaching out of the ground below?
And once those ideas were fleshed out, I knew that I couldn’t just leave the upside-down headstone blank. So, I decided to create an artistic graveyard scene to welcome you in when you open the gate.

As I said, I had such a fun time putting this card together, and I hope it will serve as a dreadfully delightsome gift to the Halloween devotee in your life!
