The most haunted time of year is nearly here. If you haven’t gotten around to making any spooky crafts this season, I have a lovely little project just for you! All you need is some paper and a sheet of vellum to make one of these super cute ghost luminaries and you’ll be enjoying the company of a sweet little specter in no time.

My wonderful patrons chose these festive designs! Each month, my Patreon subscribers help me select a couple of the projects I create, and these designs were amongst the top picks for the month of October.

I have been seeing cute ghost illustrations around a lot this year, and I’ve been looking for an excuse to try my hand at creating some myself. When this project was chosen by my patrons, I couldn’t limit myself to just one measly phantom—so I made four different ghosties!
These luminaries are quite simple to put together. All you need to do is add your vellum lining to the inside of the pink pieces, connect the two pink pieces together using the tab, fold the whole thing into an a-frame shape, and glue a small portion of the tops together. That’s it! Add a flameless tealight candle inside and you’re good to go.
I use Adobe Illustrator for all my designs, and a Cricut Maker to bring my creations to life. For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out the other fun freebies available on my blog!
Enjoy making these cute ghost luminaries for yourself! I’d love to see your results, so be sure to share them with me by either tagging me on Instagram or by sharing your work in my Facebook Group.
