2024 Layered Dog Calendar

So…I posted a cat calendar last week, and you all seemed to like it—like a lot! Like so much so that I thought a bot had gotten ahold of my link because there was no way that so many people could care about my little cat calendar posted between Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

Once I finally came to the realization that those clicks were indeed real and that people were making my cat calendar left and right, it was absolutely overwhelming. Thank you all SO much for your support! I am just one little designer, doing my thing—creating paper craft projects for anyone who might enjoy them. So I am very grateful whenever anyone enjoys my work enough to spread the word about it to their friends.

So, if you have any dog people in your circle, I hope they will enjoy this paws-itively adorable K-9 variation of my 2024 layered calendar!

If you are having any trouble setting up the file with your cutting machine, check out this tutorial:

I use Adobe Illustrator for all my designs, and a Cricut Maker to bring my creations to life. For tips on creating fun paper cuts like this one, see the FAQ section on my website. Also, be sure to check out the other fun freebies available on my blog!

I have had a few people ask about how they can stand their calendar up in order to display it. I used a place card holder the first time around. With this variation, I used a photo easel from the dollar store (as well as a super cute little clip I also found at the dollar store). I’ve also seen people use something as simple as a binder clip. Feel free to get creative with your calendar display!

Enjoy making this 2024 layered dog calendar for yourself! I’d love to see your results, so be sure to share them with me by either tagging me on Instagram or by sharing your work in my Facebook Group.

Love this calendar, as well as the cat calendar! I don’t use a printer, just my cutting machine. Would you consider making a cut only file using pens for the faces, and embellishments? Love your designs!

I have been following you since you only had one child. But one thing I have wondered is why you do not put Png’s in your files. I open my files and sort them and have a separate file of Pngs that I look through for inspiration. I have started saving pictures from your posts but that is recent. Just wondering why

Both calendars are so cute! I’ve printed your Pokemon stuff before, and also love your Harry Potter designs. You should make an owl version of this calendar! How cute would that be!!

Help! I had to use Draw. But it didn’t cut. Do I have to cut it by hand if I use draw? Newbie here !

I can’t believe you are giving away this design SVG for free! The cat version certainly went viral. I think I will make a bear version based on this dog version. Thank you for sharing.

I love both the dog and cat versions! Thanks!!!
I am noticing an issue when making the dog calendar. Jan, Apr, May, Aug, Sept and Dec “print then cut” files are coming into Design Center at 3.708 inches wide. The other 6 months come into design center as 3.556 (like all of the cat months) inches wide. Because of this, they print in different sizes as well. Any ideas why the discrepancy in the file? Mant thanks.

Hi Vicki! There are a few in this one that are slightly different in width due to the little doggy ears going beyond the edge of the page on a few of the months. 🙂

There is a woman in a Facebook group who has admittedly taken your dog calendar files and selling them on Design Space for $24.99. I have screenshots of the info. I think it’s terrible she’s illegally making money on your designs.

Hi Lisa! Due to the popularity of these calendar designs, there have been quite a few people copying my idea. I am fine with people making edits to it for their own personal use, but it does make me sad to know that people are taking the designs I am sharing for free and now trying to profit off of them. If you want to send me the info via email (mandee@designsbymissmandee.com), I’d be happy to look into this and contact Cricut about it.

Thanks for looking out for me!! ❤️

I’m sorry that you are having trouble. What program are you trying to use in order to print/cut the design? If you are cutting the design by hand, you will want to use the PDF version of the file and open it in Adobe Reader/Acrobat. If you are using a Cricut, then you can upload either the PNG or the SVG versions to Design Space. Feel free to watch this tutorial for more information: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PjwOFhrqTY

Love this so much!! I was wondering if you might be able to make this calendar, but with a house, for real estate. 😀 If so, I’d be forever grateful and pay you for it!
