Easy DIY Cherry Blossom Decor

Why hello there. So glad to see you! I hope that life is treating you well.
Last Saturday we went swimming with out little Davian. This is his third time swimming, and I’m always surprised at how content he is in the water! Even when he gets splashed in the face he just doesn’t mind. He even sneezed a couple of times while we were swimming and his whole face went in the water as he jerked forward: he bounced right back and was totally fine. What a trooper!
But, onto the good stuff. I am super excited to share my DIY project with you today: cherry blossom branches for your home decor! I’ve always loved using found-objects in crafts. I didn’t have a lot of supplies for craft projects when I was a kids, so I was forced to make use out of whatever I could find, and with this project I feel like I am reconnecting with my childhood-self.
This was something I just kind of dreamed up in a moment of spontaneous creativity, and I had no idea how it would turn out. I must say though, I am pleased with the results. This is such a simple craft! All you need are:

  • My Cherry Blossom Printable
  • Scissors
  • Some Branches
  • Hot Glue
Simply print off the design, cut out the flowers, and glue them onto some tree branches—that’s it, easy peasy.
As simple as this is, I think it’s a lovely addition to your home decor!
     Happy Crafting!
